The Instyler Rotating Hair Iron:

Hair products that do what they claim are few and far between and the Instyler is no different. This revolutionary rotating hot iron claims that it can smooth, curl, add body, and completely change the texture of the hair with nothing more than the rotating technology. I, like everyone else jumped readily on the bandwagon, eager to find a tool that would cut styling time in half but this is not that product. This product is not without benefits however, it does add body to the hair and it does have the capability to add soft curls but it does not do well when used as a straightener or when it is used on longer hair. My hair is quite long and as such it is heavy and does not hold curl or any other style for that matter very well unless it is sprayed with either a setting spray or hair spray. That being said, this tool did not straighten my hair and the curls fall flat quite quickly. I would have been happy paying twenty or thirty dollars for this tool but I did end up spending closer to 100. Had this tool been more reasonably priced it would have been a far better value and a much better tool as I would have had slightly lesser expectations of it after using.

Pros: It does add body and it can add loose curl if that is the style that you like. It does add some shine but nowhere near as much as it claims to. The barrel does come in several different sizes so it is good for those with varying length hair.

Cons: It does not straighten well, it takes tons of getting used to in order to use it properly, and it does get very hot and has a very ineffective guard that does lead to burns and uncomfortable fingers. It does not set the hair well so any style does tend to fall flat quickly on longer hair types.

Other Info: This tool is quite expensive so it is not an investment that should be taken lightly. Buying a used tool may be a better value for those that are not sure if it is the right tool for them or for those that do not necessarily have $100 to shell out for a styling wand.

Final Notes: This product may be fantastic for those with shorter hair styles that do not need things like mousse and hair spray to keep styles. It is hard to use with longer hair and does not offer long lasting style that will keep all day. For those that are just looking for an interesting new way to do their hair this tool is perfect as it is fun and innovative to try and figure out and does offer some great alternatives to traditional hair wands.

Review Body: I was spending the weekend with some friends. We were all planning on going out, so we were getting ready when my friend said if I needed anything in the rest room than I should go ahead and use anything that I needed to.

I was really concerned about my hair – I have really curly hair and it is so hard to manage any type of hairstyle with hair that is as curly as mine. Everyone always says they would love to have my curly hair – they just don’t realize that no matter what I do, it is too curly and I really have a hard time with it.

On the shelf in the bathroom was a unique looking styling iron or wand and I decided to see what I could do with it and my hair. It was unbelievable, I was able to use this styling iron and get almost all of the curl out of my hair and then designed the cutest hairstyle – I couldn’t believe it – with the styling iron I was able to do things that I could never be able to do with my hair before. When I finished with my hair, I was actually excited about going out and everyone loved my hair.

I asked my friend from where she got that styling iron and her daughter said it was hers and she got it off the internet – at a website called InStyle and it didn’t cost very much. It was called the Amazing Rotating Iron and it curls, straightens, flips, styles and shines. Well, I had already decided no matter how much it cost, I was getting me one of these style irons.

Needless to say, as soon as I woke up in the morning I was on my laptop. I found the website and the InStyle iron was on sale – buy one get one free and it was very inexpensive. I was so excited and I am not the type of person to get excited about anything to do with hair, but it really turned me on.

They arrived in only a few days and after playing with it and my hair; I now can style my hair in at least 5 different ways with this InStyle iron – five different ways! This is an amazing tool for my hair and I am so excited to have found it.

Now you might say – silly woman - and that is just fine, go ahead and say about me anything you want, but you have not walked in my shoes with my hair for years. Hair that I have never been able to style in any way that is attractive. Since I have never been able to do anything with this mess of hair – I have usually just worn it as short as I could and that isn’t very attractive either.

So for me – the InStyle iron is a life changer – yes, it literally has changed my life as I can finally do something with my mess of hair.

Pros: Inexpensive, InStyle straightens, curls, flips, and styles, creates volume and shine, 30 seconds to heat up, multiple heating settings, automatic safety shut off, and has a rotating cord. Designed completely different as compared to other curling and straightening irons. Styles in almost half the time, straightens hair with no flattening, rotating barrel that polishes the hair for an awesome shine and is a tool that almost does everything.

Have video tips and techniques on how to straighten and curl hair and other techniques to use with the iron. Has a section of InStyle advertising that are featured in magazines as well as videos where this iron is used in movies and television shows. Furthermore, it also shows models with different hair styles. Also, it has a secure encrypted check out form for protecting of personal and credit card information.

I love the Instyler because it cuts the time in half that I have to spend on my hair. My parents used to get so mad at me because I would take up the bathroom for at least an hour.
