I chose this product because I have sensitive skin. This store has a lot of chemical peels available so you can choose the product based on the intensity you desire. This product was also aimed more towards first time chemical peel users or people with sensitive skin. The website was very helpful while chosing the correct product for me because they had very descriptive details. I was able to narrow the products down by my skin type and desired results. After using the chemical peel, I noticed that my blackheads seemed less visible, my skin looked clearer, and my skin was soft. The product was not too harsh on my skin and I think that next time I will use a stronger product. It cleaned out my pores just like it was supposed to and it was cheaper than going to a spa for the same treatment. My skin definitely looked even clearer the next morning because the ingredients continued to work over night. This product is not too harsh and works quickly. It is hard to find that in a home chemical peel but I found it with this product! I will definitely be purchasing another chemical peel from the Natural Skin Shop in the future!

Pros: It was the right intensity for my skin but if it had not been strong enough, there are many different options to choose from in their online catalog. The product did exactly what it said it would do and was almost as good as if I had gone to a spa.

Cons: I wish that there was more product for the price. However, it did what it advertised. Also, if you have never used or had a chemical peel done, it would be difficult to choose the correct intensity for your skin type. Before purchasing this product, do a little research if you do not want to burn your face.

At age 55 I have noticed a drastic change in my skin the last few years. Although in the past I had problem-free skin. In my younger years I was lucky and only needed to apply daily moisturizer and a facial scrub once a month. My friend Laurie knows that I am very picky with everything and that I only like quality products. Beings that we are close to the same age and have similar skin problems I thought I would give it a try. But I have to admit, it sat in my cabinet for a month before I decided to use it. One day I looked in the mirror and thought, “okay, I really need to get this problem skin under control”. That day I decided to try the Fruit Enzyme Micro scrub. I was pretty reluctant because most scrubs can be really hard on the skin.

First off, when I opened the jar I noticed the fresh fruit smell. It was lovely. As I applied it onto my face I was quite surprised that it did not feel abrasive. Generally scrubs are very gritty and can be difficult to apply. The Fruit Enzyme Micro Scrub was different; the white cream was easy to apply and had a very soft feel against my skin.

So then I thought, maybe it isn’t a good scrub because it isn’t “gritty” enough to remove the dead particles and dirt from my skin. I was wrong. I decided to first use a cotton swab to remove the scrub so I could see how much grime it removed from my pores. I was quite amazed. The cotton swab contained a lot of grime and old skin. As well, my skin felt smooth and rejuvenated.

I decided to use the scrub once a week since my skin needed a lot of repair. Within a month I noticed a drastic change. I had fewer pimples, less wrinkles lines and a glow to my skin.

Pros: The Fruit Enzyme Micro Scrub has a refreshing fruity smell that is not overwhelming. Is easy to apply and not abrasive to the skin. I had great results in a very short time. Within a month my skin was smoother, softer, it had better tone, less wrinkles and fewer pimples. I could tell that the natural fruit ingredients were rejuvenating my skin a lot faster than I expected. I also noticed that I really did not need a moisturizer after using the scrub. As well, it lasts a long time; you only need to apply a small dab of the cream for each use.

Cons: Although the price is a bit expensive compared to other similar products, a little does go a long way. As well, I would recommend using it only once a week and not too often. When I used the Fruit Enzyme Micro scrub more than once a week it made my skin oily in places, especially around the eyes.
