They always give out a prize for the best costume – sometimes it’s a trip, sometimes its money. These people are all theatre arts majors, so that is probably why the costume party’s keep coming up. About every month – someone wants to “have a costume party”. It’s ok – this one is going to be in a spooky old house – they seem to know where all of them in town are located.

The costume arrived yesterday and it looks great – I actually am getting excited. I have all my class work done for next week, so I am not skipping anything for school and my tests were all this week. So, I have everything ship shape for the weekend. My boyfriend also has an old pirate costume that he is going to wear – he said the prize for best costume is going to be $100. Not bad – I wonder if I could add anything else to make by costume better. A hat? No, I think it looks just right.

Review Body: I have this Neo costume and I love it. I bought it before Halloween last year for a costume party that I was invited to last Halloween and I wanted to impress the girl who was having the party.

I really liked this girl and I wanted to get to know her better. So, I thought that the cooler the costume I could find, the better my chances of getting a date with her. We all are students at the University of Texas in Austin and Halloween is really a big deal here.

Someone told me that this girl’s favorite movie was the Matrix, so my mission was to find a Super Deluxe Neo costume that included sunglasses and a long black overcoat. For those of you who never saw the Matrix, the character of Neo in the movie is of the “Chosen One” who ends the war with the sentient machines with his limitless power over the Matrix. So, if this was the girl’s favorite movie – I was sure to get her attention if I was dressed as Neo.

I actually found just what I was looking for on the internet – it was perfect. I ordered it, but it didn’t fit too well on me, so a friend of mine in the drama department tailor fitted it to me and I looked great.

Halloween came and the night of the party I was a little nervous. When I got to the Tri Delta house bingo – she spotted me immediately. I mean the minute I walked in the door, she noticed the costume and came over to talk to me. The costume worked like a charm and before the night was over – I had a date set to take her to dinner the next weekend.

So, if you like some girl – find out all you can about her – then you have something to work with. The Neo costume worked great because that really was her favorite movie – sweet!!!

We have been dating ever since – I almost gave her an engagement ring for Valentine’s Day, but I don’t think either one of us are ready, so I am holding off on that. She is really a special lady and she calls me her “Chosen One”. It really is amazing how well this worked out.

Pros: Feels good not like most Halloween costumes, Matrix authorized re-seller, shipped on time and even got here early, included in the costume was a long black coat and sunglasses just like the movie character wore. The long black coat was very stylish – the whole costume was well worth the price. I not only looked great, but I also got the girl.

Review Body: Ever since I first fitted my kids out in Halloween wares from the local stores, I‘ve got to say that I’ve been one of the biggest skeptics on Earth when it comes to costume quality. Not to put too fine a point on it, my son’s Spiderman costume fell to pieces before he’d even got the thing on and we had to patch-up my daughter’s Cinderella gown about fine time in the same night.

Thank all that I stumbled across Costume Craze when I picked up the Muscle Chest Hal Jordan Teen Costume this time around – it’s changed my mind in the most positive way.

What I’ve learned is that stunning costumes for kids and adults alike can be attained at hugely affordable novelties that are also built to last. Take the Muscle Chest Hal Jordan Teen Costume that I bought last month for my son who was going to a birthday party. It’s one of the first times I can say for sure that the picture on the website isn’t embellished or shopped, but if anything doesn’t do the costume justice. Now of course, I’m not the biggest Green Lantern fan in the house by any means, but given the fact that it won over my son in a heartbeat is a pretty big win to say the least.

He’s not exactly the most accommodating, bless his heart!

This time though, he popped on the green outfit with no help needed and told me it was almost as comfy as his pajamas. It’s only been a few weeks and sure he’ll grow out of it, but I’ve really changed my mind about what can and should be expected when buying a child’s costume. Why accept that it has to be a shoddy and worthless garment when you can easily take home something that can be used more than once?

Pros: An excellent quality costume from head to toe and clearly not thrown together by the cheapest bidder. I wanted to dress up like a pirate when taking my son out for his first Halloween trip but couldn’t find anything affordable at any of the local costume stores. After looking around a bit online I came across Costume Craze and was pretty impressed with their selection and the price was decent. Since I wasn’t looking for anything super elaborate I went with a pretty basic set from the site but it worked out just fine. And though I see that Nadine had some problem with getting her costume, the shipping was actually really fast for me which was a bonus, and not having to sift through all the mess at the annual costume shops was really nice.

I’m not sure what people expect from a website like this? The costumes are nice for the price you’re paying. I love this website. Yes, it’s huge and you can get a little lost just as if you were in a real warehouse walking the aisles. But, I love looking at the variety of costumes they offer and going through the kids’ selections with my little ones to see what is sparking their interest. This year we had a wolfman, a supergirl hero, and a drooling zombie. I am not one to wait until the last minute and hope for the best, so I ordered in September and we got the costumes in plenty of time. I’ve never had any problem with the shipping, so I can’t speak to that. However, the quality of the costumes, for us, has never been terrible. No, they won’t last a lifetime, but they do just fine for one night a year. We’ll keep on using Costume Craze for the foreseeable future.

I completely agree with Irene about the shipping! It took me forever to get my costume shipped to me! I don’t see how Costume Craze gets away it. I guess they figure they can since they offer the express shipping option, but I honestly didn’t think it would be a problem. Wrong! I barely received my costume in time for Halloween. The costume itself was nice, but I don’t think I’ll be using them again unless I have plenty of time to allow for slow shipping.
