Zinio Digital Magazines

I really like Consumer Reports magazine. I find the data not only objective but also extremely useful. Before I make any significant purchase, I check with Consumer Reports. I have several stacks of back issues, and I refer to them often. My main problem is that my back issues are occupying a large amount of space in my closet. Although I have categorized all the issues by publication date, I still have to search each stack to find the product reviews I need at any given time. Of course, many issues are dogeared and highlighted. I need all my remaining closet space; therefore, I sought alternatives for print magazines.

In my online search, I stumbled across Zinio's website. It offers digital copies of dozens of magazines. I looked for Consumer Reports, and there it was. When I saw the price, I was quite pleased. In today's trying economic times, saving $5 is saving $5. I especially liked the fact that I am allowed to share content. Although I do occasionally enjoy scrapbooking and sending cut-out articles to family and friends, I think I will enjoy simply pressing "share" to do the same thing more efficiently.

I told a friend about Zino, and he immediately checked out the cost of Playboy magazine. He was astounded at the cost: It was a mere $12 for 12 issues. He is as happy with his new subscription as I am with mine. We both heartily recommend this website.

Pros:
Digital magazines are super-convenient. You get the same content without having to give up storage space if you want to keep the magazines. You can also share your purchased content over social media. Last, you can even store the content offline and read it whenever you want. The cost of the digital version is lower than both the newsstand and special prices. This website truly offers a win-win situation.

Cons:
I am a traditionalist when it comes to reading, however. In truth, I prefer holding a book or magazine to a digital copy. The digital copy seems almost impersonal.

Review Title: Spice Up your Life!

Title: HELLO! India

Review Body: If you haven’t already been caught up in the Bollywood way of life and all things Indian, I’d like to bet it’s only a matter of time!

The reason I say this is that a year or so ago I wasn’t really interested in the subject and was to a great extent only bothered about my humble little family life in Chicago. However, I somehow managed to be convinced to take a month-long trip to various corners of India with my husband and a group of our friends, which I have to say turned out to be the most life-changing trip of my life.

Thus the story leads on to today when I am personally recommending HELLO! India to anyone with the slightest interest in what is undeniably one of the most stunning places on the face of the Earth.

Everyone knows HELLO! Magazine which has been in various circles and now has grown to be one of the biggest publications in the world. However, I’d like to mention that most have never gone so far as to try out another version of the magazine from another country, which by rights can be one of the biggest eye-openers you can imagine. Even for me after spending an extended period in India, I could not believe how insightful and downright incredible HELLO! India turned out to be.

The magazine subscription I am referring to is a 100% digital version, which I must admit did to some extent worry me at first. I’m used to all of my magazines coming in paper form and it was only at the request of my husband that I agreed to give the 2013 alternative a try. I have to say that it only took me a single issue to be converted for life. Why?

Well, if you’re familiar with HELLO! in any of its forms, you will know that it features some of the most stunning photography of any magazine in the history of history. So, take the digital version for a tablet PC say and the kind of clarity and detail you’re blessed with is off the scale. You can save images and zoom in to quite enormous extents and never lose a single scrap of quality. Speaking of which, there’s no chance of the magazine getting torn, faded or damaged in any of the usual ways – each edition is a keeper.

I just love the way in which I can take my copies of HELLO! India anywhere with me and indulge myself in the exotic everyday Chicago life. I’ve already been inspired to make a thousand and one changes around the home, which in many respects has started to look like it was lifted from the streets of New Delhi…just how I wanted!

Pros: I’ll admit that it’s difficult to accept a digital copy of HELLO! India could be better than the conventional paper version, but it absolutely 100% is exactly that…superior in every way. Along with the various benefits that relate to convenience and quality, there’s also the way in which the magazine offers access to so much more content online that isn’t available to those choosing the paper version. As far as value for money goes it’s pretty much off the scale and I really would recommend it to anyone looking for a taste of India.

Cons: I don’t have any so far as both the magazine itself and the service I received have been 100% faultless. This is probably the only means by which I will ever take home magazine subscriptions again…I’m well and truly converted.

Website Experience: It was a great website to use and made it really easy to find what I was looking for. I was also presented with dozens of similar publications in line with my tastes, which although I didn’t take up at the time I will most probably return for at a later date. All in all though, I could not be happier with the ease of use the website offered or the speed at which the transaction was completed.

Review Title: Fast Track to a Better Home and Garden…as Promised!

Title: Better Homes and Gardens India

Review Body: I am in love with the web and feel it has enriched so many lives more than anything that’s come along in the history of technology. By contrast however, I am also a purist when it comes to magazines and newspapers which mean that although I am more than willing to read digital versions of them, I will never give up my magazines for websites in general. From daily publications to monthly style magazines and so on, I subscribe to tons of the things and certainly have my own preferences and favorites. As far as the latter goes, I cannot recommend Better Homes and Gardens India highly enough to anyone with a taste for the exotic.

Now, I am about as far from Indian culture or living in India as it gets – I’m a mum of four from Utah. However, I have been to India a number of times and have many Indian influences in my life, therefore over the years have found myself adopting more and more of the culture around my home and my life in general. I’m just in love with the history, elegance and beauty of Indian culture and love to revel in a few Indian influenced goodies around my home and garden.

It wasn’t until recently that I took up a Better Homes and Gardens India subscription to be used via my iPad. However, I can say without hesitation that it is so far the most inspiring publication I have subscribed to and I have been raving about it to friends and family alike. The thing is, I used to go wild if I found a magazine or style guide that had a one-off section dedicated to Indian style and culture. So, you can probably imagine how excited I was to find one that is not only 100% dedicated to Indian style, but is also a regular publication that I can indulge in every month.

The answer was and still is…very excited indeed.

As you’d expect from the world famous magazine in general, Better Homes and Gardens India is of quite exceptional quality when it comes to both the journalism and the quality of photographs used from cover to cover. The insights it grants into modern India style are just out of this world and I love the way it makes things so accessible for anyone. I’ve already planned a series of changes around my home in conjunction with what I’ve learned in the magazine and cannot wait to get started.

I really don’t know where else to take this review other than to say that it really is the most amazing magazine for anyone with a taste for the Indian way or life, or really anyone else that likes the idea of bringing something exotic into their home.

Pros: I love the convenience of having the magazine beamed directly to my iPad, which allows me to take every issue I’ve ever received with me wherever I go. The quality is also off the scale and even when you zoom in to take a look at the most minute of details, the pictures don’t lose any quality or clarity – a huge bonus over the standard paper version. As far as the price goes, whether you look to pay in local currency or as a foreigner like I did, chances are you won’t believe how cheap it is to subscribe to a real top-tier magazine like this.

Cons: There are still some that argue against digital magazines in favor of paper products, but when it comes to quality, convenience and the ability to keep the magazine in pristine condition forever, there is nothing that comes close to the digital alternative. I used to be a skeptic, but now I’m fully on board!

Website Experience: Pretty perfect, easy to navigate and simple to make the purchase you’re looking for. I’m not great with the web in general by couldn’t have been happier with the overall buying experience.

I absolutely love Zinio! These digital magazines are so much cheaper than those sold at newsstands, and I love that I can read them anytime on my e-reader. Although other reviewers have pointed out that Zinio won’t work with all devices, I’ve had no trouble using it with my Nook. I think it’s a great service and I’d recommend it to any avid magazine reader.

I love to read magazines. I read everything from political new to movie gossips. In fact, I always carry one or two magazines with me wherever I go. They help me pass my time efficiently. Zinio has made things easy for me. I do not have to carry my magazines everywhere. I can simply access the books by logging into my account. The digital quality is impeccable. The experience is amazing. If you are like me, Zinio is definitely worth a try. I would strongly recommend it.

I love this idea! Zinio has allowed me to get all of my favorite magazines on my iPad, so I never have to have stacks of magazines cluttering up the house. A bonus is that digital subscriptions are much cheaper than regular subscriptions, so I’ve been able to save money. It’s also fun to take out the iPad in waiting rooms since I can read exactly what I want and not have to worry about reading magazines that sick people have touched. I would recommend Zinio to any magazine lover with an e-reader.

Zinio digital magazines are amazing. I have always loved reading magazines. I would carry some with me in my bag all the time until my husband gifted the Zinio subscription to me. I can access all my favorite magazines digitally. I love the interface. The colors are bright and the letters are clear. I can have them with me all the time. I read more now, and feel great about it. The service is great. I have never had any technical issues with them. I have to give them five stars and recommend them strongly to anyone looking for digital magazines.

I am with everyone on Zinio. I am a major magazine freak. I love reading them all the time. I feel they are informative. Unlike a book with 300 pages, I can also pause reading a magazine after one article. They are informative and offer new perspectives about current happenings. Zinio has made my life so easy. I now have digital subscriptions for all my favorite magazines. I do not have to carry them around but can read whenever I want. It is reasonably prices and worth every cent!

I have to say this was a really fantastic idea. The store is easy to use, well priced and you can skip all the fluff and filler that make up most of the magazines in the stores anymore. It also avoids a lot of the clutter that comes with having a lot of magazine subscriptions. It's a wonderful way to research and keep up with celebrity gossip all through a simple download. Five stars and definitely a recommended site for anyone who loves magazines but hates all the clutter having a lot of them produces.

Zinio’s digital magazines are fantastic. This service has saved me a significant amount of money over the years, and that something for which I am grateful. I was surprised to find out how inexpensive this service was in comparison to prices charged by competitors. That is why I am fully committed to using Zinio for many years to come. At the very least, my home is now free from clutter, and that is exciting.
