The items are baby supplies, clothes, and other accessories, including baby whips, a bpa-free pacifier, and a baby tub. I bought them for my newborn daughter a little less than a month ago from Walmart. I was looking for cheap but high quality baby clothes, and other baby stuff like diapers and a baby bath.

I wanted to shop at a place that offered a variety of baby stuff from cute little hats to much larger items like cribs, strollers, swings, and bouncy chairs. It was also important for me to be able to get bpa free plastics and cloth diaper supplies. I needed an air-tight container to hold soiled cloth diapers. I was also on the lookout for stylish cloth diapers like BumGenius and Thirsties because they use cute snaps and buttons and come in all sorts of fun colors. I decided that if I was going to use reusable diapers, they had to be hip.

When my mother-in-law gave us a gift card to Walmart it was settled for sure as to where we would shop for our baby supplies. I was in luck, because Walmart ended up having most of what we needed for really cheap. We bought clothes, a baby bath, and a bpa-free pacifier. Unfortunately, Walmart did not have any selection at all for cloth diaper supplies. This was a little disappointing, but at least that was the only thing on my list that they did not have.

As far as clothes, they had a pretty good selection and I ended up settling on the brand Carter’s. The Child of Mine dress outfits for new born girls are extremely adorable and well made, like I have found most Carter products to be. The best part about these cute little dresses is the price. They were under seven dollars each.

My choice for baby baths was finally narrowed down to First Year’s New Born to Toddler Tub, mainly because it is an adjustable tub and will last me until my daughter is like 2-years-old. It comes with a cute little net for her tiny body now, and this net gets removed when she has more neck support and control. It was under twenty dollars, which is a great deal for three years of use.

I was pleased to find that Walmart carried BPA-free pacifiers because it is super important for me to use safe plastics with my daughter. I chose the Avent BPA-free pacifier because of its price which was seven dollars and they also come in cool colors.

Pros:
There is a great selection of baby clothes at Walmart and all the brands are reasonably priced. I found a great little baby tub and they also carry bpa free pacifiers and baby bottles.

Cons:
Walmart is an alright place to shop for baby supplies. They had most of everything I wanted for reasonable prices.

When your mattress is sagging in the middle and is 10 years old, it might be time to get a new mattress, especially when you wake up and feel as if you haven’t slept at all.

So, I thought that I should go ahead and get a new mattress – but the one that I have cost me over $400 – who has that extra money, especially when you aren’t making that much money in the first place. Someone that I use to work with said that WalMart online has specials occasionally on mattress. WalMart? Are you sure? I checked the website and they do have mattresses. So, I checked out the mattress section and the prices were not bad. Perhaps, I can afford to get a new mattress.

WalMart does have the Spa Sensations 8 inch memory foam mattresses that offer everything that a person needs to get sleep better at night. This comfortable mattress starts with a lush cover on a layer of rich memory foam that is body conforming, so you will feel as if you are weightless. This unique foam technology of high density shapes itself to the body and gives you a customized surface for sleeping.

I thought that sounded good – so, I ordered it and I have had it for about two weeks now. I haven’t slept better in years. This Spa Sensation memory foam mattress uses a blending of natural seed oil and green tea to help fight bacteria. And this is a highly rated mattress. Since I have received it, I have started sleeping better than ever – at least not this good in the last couple of years. This mattress comes in 4 sizes and I ordered the queen. I am sleeping so well that I can’t wait until bedtime every night. It has help to ease a lot of pains and aches and I actually have a spring in my step again.

The better you sleep, research has shown, the better your health will be, as sleep is now being connected to almost all illnesses in one way or another. So, that explains why I am feeling better – I feel like I could run a mile, but I think I will just go walk one. It is making me feel years younger.

Pros: Mattress has 8 inches of memory foam that is thick, creates a sleeping surface that is customized and responds to the heat and pressure of the body. Queen size is 60 inches x 80 inches; the memory foam mattress is very tightly packed and sealed with vacuum, which will take several hours to return to original shape; beds and bed frames are sold separately.

Final Notes: I never thought and realized that sleeping well was so important for a person. I feel so great about this Whalen Swivel 3-in-1 TV Stand that I bought from the Walmart website about a week or so ago. I had been looking for a new TV stand as the one I owned was not big enough to support my new 60” Flat Screen LCD TV which I had bought recently to watch my favorite television programs. My search took me to a number of furniture stores both online and offline until finally I landed on the Walmart website and saw the Whalen Swivel 3-in-1 TV Stand available for sale there.

The Wal-Mart website from where I purchased this product is an excellent website. The smartly placed drop down menu and search engine on the top portion of this website makes navigation of this site an easier proposition for the customers. Moreover, the ample white spaces present on the website make it easier for the visitors to skim the content present on the website. I was very impressed by the security arrangements that the website had made for safe keeping of the private information of its customers. It was very relieving for me to see that the website cared about the safety of their customer’s credit card information.

As soon as I had seen this TV stand, I had fallen in love with it. The reason why I became an instant fan of this item was its elegance and beauty that was emitting from its every curve. From its excellent wooden posts and glass shelves, I liked every design aspect of this item and decided to buy it for my home even though its price was a little outside my budget. I quickly placed an order for this product online and asked the website to ship it directly to my door step.

Groceries at my local Walmart:

I use Walmart for my weekly grocery shopping for a variety of reasons. I really like that they have several locations so I can shop when I am getting off work or from my home. I love that they are open 24/7 so if I’m craving ice cream at 2 am I can go somewhere and not have to pay an arm and a leg to indulge my sweet tooth.

I also love the prices; which can’t be beat at the chain grocery stores let alone the mom and pop stores. And then there’s the convenience of going for groceries, while also being able to browse clothes, books and TV’s or computers. I can’t think of a conventional grocery store where I can do that. And if I wanted to I could even have tires put on my car or get an oil change; as if I could do that anywhere else?

First I went to the Pharmacy section and bought some Claritan for my allergies, then some Barbasol and toothpaste. Then I headed back to Electronics since my favorite Walmart activity is to peruse the $5 DVD sales. I was able to get No Country For Old Men and Killers for only $10. I checked out paperbacks but didn’t find anything interesting so I headed for the pet section.

I was able to get my dog Truman some new dog biscuits to try and since he’s a Great Pyrenees I bought a forty pound bag of Pedigree as well as a couple of chew toys.

I then made my way to the grocery section starting at the back of the store. Milk, Wine Coolers, some butter and eggs then over to chips and dips. I grabbed a case of Pepsi and then meandered up and down the aisles from there. Walmart has a great meat section and deli along with deli and bakery sections.

I like to shop at Walmart with the knowledge that they have more than competitive prices and will match ad prices as well. And best of all they have a return policy that is next to none. You can bring back any items you are not completely happy with and they will refund your money with or without a receipt.

Pros: The convenience, prices and availability. And if you want something not carried in their store then just go online to www.walmart.com and you can order it and have it shipped to your store for free or else to your house; how great is that?

Cons: Sometimes the staff is not as informative as you would like them to be.

Walmart is the epitome of success to many of the people who see the image they portray. They do billions of dollars each year in the United States alone. They employ hundreds of workers and offer some of the best retail deals available to their customers. All of this comes at a cost, however.

Over 50 years ago, Sam Walton had a dream of providing his customers with the best products at the most affordable prices. His ideals were well founded and based on old fashioned family values. As the decades passed, Sam's dream grew exponentially. He maintained control of the retail giant until his death. With Sam no longer at the helm, his successors began to handle things alittle differently. Several things began to change.

One of the biggest issues consumers have with Walmart is their employment history. They have one of the highest employee turnover rates in the country. Several lawsuits have been filed against the company for both sexual discrimination and the abuse of immigrant workers. Without Sam Walton around to oversee how his employees are being treated, many managers and assistant managers take great liberties in how they treat the employees who work within their individual stores.

When Sam Walton established first Walmart, he wanted his employees to know he cared about them and their families. His open door policy made him available to any employee who thought they were being treated unfairly. After Sam passed, employees learned the open door policy quickly slammed shut. Individuals who went to their superiors with grievances were promptly demoted or fired for any number of indiscretions.

Walmart continued to offer high quality products, but they began to look for other product lines that were considered "quick sell" products. They were placed in high traffic areas and intended to spark the impulse to buy. These products were cheaply made and often were not worth being returned. With many of Walmart's product lines being above reproach, most shoppers do not realize the number of products that are being offered by less respectable manufacturers. The Brahma line falls into the latter category.

Walmart has become the biggest retailer in the history of the world. Not only do they thrive on the public's desire to buy anything and everything that is offered to them, they also rely on the consumer's gullibility. They believe as long as they can make things look appealing, the public will look the other way as long as the price is right.

Pros: They have a wide variety of products. Most are excellent quality, but others are sub-standard

Cons: The boots were made poorly and used sub-standard materials. The soles cracked in half after only 2 weeks of wear.

Review Body: I have this Small Spaces Living Room Bundle which is a great value and I love it. My living room was just being overrun with junk and furniture that was too much for the space. One day I couldn’t stand it anymore, so I spend a whole day making over my living room area. Stuff that wasn’t any good anymore, I threw out and the furniture that was ok but just too much for this tiny space, I took over to Goodwill.

Then when I got the rug cleaned, I started looking for some furniture. I wanted a matched set that fit in my small living room. Everywhere I went the furniture was either too big or too expensive. Someone suggested that I check out Wal-Mart – I didn’t even know Wal-Mart sold furniture, but I took some time and looked up Wal-Mart on the internet. Sure enough there was furniture – good furniture and they also had bundles and there it was a small space living room value bundle.

Bundles save you money as you get more and spend less when you buy some items together. This small spaces living room value includes the following: a small spaces sofa that is a sectional and comes in a choice of multiple colors, a coffee table, and an end table. So, I got the sofa in a khaki color with coffee table and end table that is black. The total price was very little and they delivered it the next day. I left the same artwork on the wall as my artwork is fairly nice. I also picked up a nice throw rug and two couch pillows to match. You put it all together and wow – I had a nice living room that wasn’t crammed full of junk and furniture that was too old and too big. We all need to start doing this – downsizing – we own too much. Our houses are full of too much junk.

So, next I am starting on my bedroom. I will keep the bed, but everything else has to go. It probably will take some time because I have a chest and dresser that I need to clean out. The clothes that I wore 20 years ago when I was a lot thinner will all get bundled up and go to Goodwill. Then I will go get an end table and a dresser and I will have a new bedroom.

I know when all the junk is gone and I have bought some smaller furniture in bundles will make my whole apartment look different. Small Spaces Value Bundles are a real value when someone wants to get rid of all the junk and start over.

Pros: Come in bundles so it is cheaper, smaller furniture for smaller spaces, looks good, comfortable. This is really nice furniture, but smaller and I love it.

Website Experience: The Wal-Mart website is a nice looking website. It has plenty of information, but not all crammed into one space – there is plenty of white space. The navigation is driven by a menu on the left side that lists all the departments. There is also a website search engine that also is another navigation tool. There is plenty of product detail, but the pages are not overloaded as there is lots of white space. Each product has many photographs with the ability to be magnified. The website provides a great shopping experience and doesn’t overwhelm the customer as some websites of larger stores do.

Final Notes: Many scientists believe that our lives are too cluttered and we need to de-clutter as much as we can. I know it's really trendy right now to hate Wal-Mart for a lot of reasons, but those arguments don't really make sense when you take a closer look at what the store actually does. It offers my family a great way to buy household items we need for a lot less, and also helps us give our kids the kind of Christmas that they deserve. The prices are a lot lower than other stores and we even buy our groceries here since it saves us money, too. We live in a rural town and most people here don't have a lot of money, so Wal-Mart's really the best option for us. I see people saying that Wal-Mart treats its workers unfairly, but I've been an employee there for almost ten years and I absolutely love my job. Not only do I get paid above what most others in my community make, but I actually have employee benefits. Hate Wal-Mart all you want, but for those of us who actually use the store and need it, it's really a lifesaver.
