Everybody needs a little peace and relaxation at the end of a hard day, and that lead me right to an amazing Panasonic Massage chair. I was shopping at the Eastland Mall in Columbus, Ohio and they had several of these chair sitting out for people to enjoy. At first I thought it was just nice and I could enjoy it when going to the mall. My husband found me nearly an hour later, still relaxing and told me to buy one if I liked them so much. Eastland Mall didn’t have a store that sold them, but I found comparable ones online. With permission granted from my spouse, I decided to splurge a bit.

There are many models of the Panasonic chairs and they can go up to the $7k range. Since I have three children I couldn’t afford to spend that kind of money on a chair. If I had a nickel for every time I ask my husband to rub my neck with all the stress and tension I have, I would be a millionaire. While he can do a massage for about 3 minutes tops, it is never enough to get the tension from my muscles.

The model I chose was the EP1285KL. It is the Panasonic model called the Swede-Atsu Urban Massage Chair, I call it pure heaven. This chair massages my neck, arms, back, legs and hip area. It has a large and comfortable sitting area and measures 47 x 30 x 43. You can program the chair to your massage needs; there are 9 settings in all. It has comfortable holders for the legs to glide into and be massaged. After a long day of chasing kids, this is just what I needed.

Pros: Having a massage on demand is the perfect way for anyone to relax in their own home. It is cheaper than going to a massage therapist all the time and a great way to ease tension and stress.

Cons: The price is a big steep. At around $3k even the cheapest model can be a far stretch for some people. However; it is a splurge item that people should indulge in.

Final Notes: While the chair does take up a bit of room, I gladly made room for it. It works all my problem areas and my husband’s fingers don’t get tired. I wish I had bought this chair years ago when I first starting having neck problems.

Pros: There are so many qualities of the Real Ultra Pro that this section would prove very small to list them all. The most impressive aspect of the chair is that it offers all types of massages. Not only this, the chair caters to almost all parts of your body. From your upper back to your neck and shoulder and from your lower back to shin and calf, it can massage it all!

Cons: The only thing that I was frustrated with was the fact that I couldn’t understand how to use its features when I initially bought it. However, the detailed user manual helped me out.
