Both M. Taylor and Beth have a point. I started using Zip Recruiter a little while back since I live in a small town and needed to find people fairly quickly. I got more responses than I'd expected too, even for being in such a small place so I was quite happy with the service in that aspect. The price of the service, though, is quite high and could stand to be brought down a little, especially for what it is. All in all, it's not a bad way to go even with the price. I'd avoid calling customer service if at all possible, though. The few times I've had to speak with them, they haven't been very helpful. Zip Recruiter does send your job listing out to many different avenues and that can at times lead to a lot of junk email. Just be prepared to spend some times and sift through things and you should be fine. Some jobs may not benefit from Zip Recruiter since they're specialized positions or niche markets. If that's the case, you would probably be better off just sending your listing out on your own. All in all, it's a good service if your business would benefit from the exposure to a wide array of markets and sites and you're willing to spend some time sifting through the responses.

I am a human resources manager with my company, and when we are doing any type of hiring it can cause major stress. There are many faucets to hiring employees that can be outsourced. I found that Zip Recruiter was very pleasant to work with and we did see positive results. I have worked with other companies that specialize in our industry, which is why I only gave three stars. I found the service itself to be fairly good, but I live in a large city, and got a lot more responses than I would if I had been in a small town. If you are interested in a whole new string of junk email and a useless search for qualified candidates, then you should try this Zip Recruiter service. All it really does is blast your job opening over all of the major job recruiting online outlets, which is something you could do yourself with a lot more accuracy. I am still filtering out the junk email I am getting from a couple of Craigslist ads that I wish had never been placed. This service is a waste of money and time.

Just like Brett O’Connell I felt that some of the people at Zip recruiter were down right rude with me and my fellow associates. I am a human resource director for my company and I am often put in charge of hiring new people. This service really helped me get the new people in there quick and I am really pleased with the service that they provided. Perhaps, Zip Recruiter could benefit from retraining their own employees but overall I had a good experience and got the new hires that I needed to make my boss a happy man.

Zip Recruiter is a service I've found to be very helpful. My boss mentioned them when my department needed to hire more people. As a human resources manager, this made my job a lot easier. We had pretty good results with applicants, but this could maybe be a problem in other areas that aren't as populated. They can be worth your time, but their customer service could use a little bit of help. A couple of their people have been kind of rude to my staff, and this is something I think everyone should be aware of.

Like Hillary, the company I'm with hires around 30 to 35 people at a time for new positions and open jobs. Early on, we were way too many resumes to handle and it was really causing a problem, so I started looking around and found Zip Recruiter. Having their service has really saved us a lot of time and effort. The cost might be a little high and I have to warn you against dealing with customer service as they were a little rude the times I've contacted them. Sasha After expanding our business, we were in need of more employees. With little results from our ad in the local newspaper, we turned to Zip Recruiter. Uploading job qualification was a breeze. Once our ad was placed, Zip Recruiter put us in contact with several potential employees. However, some of the applicants lived over 100 miles away. These applicants were not a possibility as we needed employees that lived close to our business. After scouring through the many applicants, we came across two resumes that looked promising. Since we already had their resume and references in hand, the interview process was a snap. The two applicants quickly became employees.
