The product or service should I say, that is being reviewed is batteryedge.com which is an online battery wholeseller that specializes in laptop chargers and batteries. This review came at a great time, seeing how my sons puppy decided to turn my Toshiba Satellite laptop charger into a chew toy. (dont worry it was not plugged in at the time of its demise, so no animals were harmed in the making of this review) So upon the loss of my chargers ability to safety charge my laptop , a few google searches later I stumbled on a couple reveiws of a wholesell battery retailer called batteryedge.com, but upon typing that in the search bar I was taken to suppliesoutlet.com who specializes in printer supplies at outlet prices, but on their front page it states that battery edge has merged with supplies outlet.com.

Ok, now this is a weird buisness combination we have here, printer ink and toner suppliers have combined forces with laptop battery and charger specialist to create a super outlet warehouse of ink cartridges and laptop batteries. Ok i'll go with this rare marketing team up superstore strategy and see how cheap I can get my charger and be done. So I found my charger in stock for $22.00, now this was kind of disappointing considering that it would have been just as cheap to go to the local best buy or ultimate electronics, or mabey cheaper but whats a couple of dollars so I went through the checkout process, took note of the fact they already configured in the tax, and had free same day shipping. And two full days later I recieved my charger in well condition with a lifetime warrenty, I couldn't have been more happier if I'd decided to order ink cartridges also.

Pros: of this purchase was that they delivered the product fast and in good condition, with a full lifetime warrenty, and on top of that I got a good reference as to where to get cheap printer ink.

Cons: of this experience I guess would be the overall confusion in their webpage merging with suppliesoutlet.com but it wasn't that bad of a customer experience at all.

Review Body: Last month I found myself facing a situation where I was about one click away from spending $2,000 on a new laptop computer because the one I had wasn’t giving me the battery life I needed. Yeah it was good for 4-hours and still totally under warranty, but I’m sometimes travelling 8-hours in a day and really could do with getting a few things done along the way.

Thankfully for my sake however, it was my son that burst in with a frankly genius idea I’d never thought of – why not just buy another battery? After all, I’ve come to know my laptop like an extension of my arms, so why bother shelling out $2,000 for something I’ll hate for the next six-months?

So I did – I looked up the laptop battery for Gateway M210, MX3210 that I needed and there it was, courtesy of Supplies Outlet online. While you might argue that it’s not easy to get too excited about a new laptop battery, I was personally quite thrilled with the idea of pocketing $1,940 in savings! Very thrilled indeed!

As far as the battery itself goes it’s pretty difficult to know what to tell you. As you can probably expect, it works as a second battery for my laptop and has since doubled the amount of work I can get done without having to run around like an idiot trying to find a power outlet. While it isn’t actually made by the same manufacturer as the laptop itself, it charges just as quickly and delivers just as much grunt like the original battery – there’s really no difference between it and the battery the laptop came with. As such, value for money is something; I really can’t speak of highly enough as regardless of which alternative option I would have gone for, it has frankly saved me a small fortune.
