My old mattress was nearly ten years old and had developed lumps in it. While rolling to the center is a habit, the dip that was forming in our mattress set was less than attractive. As a mother of three active children, I need a good night’s sleep. While we wanted to wait until the perfect time for a new bed, the finances can always be used for something else, and we needed restful sleep each night. When I got my taxes I knew that the first thing I was buying myself was a new bed.

To me buying a mattress is like buying a used car, the high pressure sales tactics. I decided to ask some of the girls at my local health club about mattresses. The top four mattress makers come to mind and I was sure those would be our selection for our home, but who would we buy it from, we obviously wanted to get the best prices? My friend told me that buying a mattress online was easy. I couldn’t imagine shipping a mattress to my home and parking it outside my door if I was not home. Plus, I was sure a cat or dog or some other animal would find a new bed in the event it was outside. My friend was telling me about the amazing deals that she got on Sleepy’s Mattresses. She said they run amazing specials and will ship them for nearly nothing. A woman with an eye for a bargain, I knew this was something I needed to check out.

A few days later when surfing the web, I decide to check out Sleepy’s site. I was relieved to know that if I spent over $600 they would ship my mattress set for free. I found what I had always wanted, a Tempur-Pedic set. They didn’t have a showroom in my local area, but I found that they did deliver. I didn’t have to shop long, I wanted the mattress set of my dreams, and the Tempur-Pedic was financed by then and on its way within two business days.

Pros: Sleepy’s was amazing from start to finish. Because I was not in a local showroom, I called the store to talk to someone about my dream bed. They told me the pros and cons of each type of mattress set and told me that while a Tempur-Pedic would cost more, it was worth every penny. They were amazing and helped with financing and my delivery was quick.

Cons: The fact that Sleep’s doesn’t have many locations can be a big deterrent. Those who want to sit on the beds and see the different levels of firmness may find it hard to select a bed online.

Final Notes: I love my new bed. I now recommend all my friends to Sleepy’s because of their amazing prices. Who knew you could buy bed online and never visit a showroom. I felt no pressure from a salesman and there was never any question that I didn’t have answered. Their website even has life agents on most hours for all questions and split second shopping decisions.
