I have been in need of a new phone for a long time. But my problem was that I was bound by my phone contract. So a friend of mine told me that I could look up online some places that sold phones through other phone companies and I was not bound by anything at all. So I decided it was worth a shot and besides my old phone was failing on me big time. So I came across the site wirefly and saw some really cool phones that interested me. I checked out a few cool ones, but I really liked the Droid DNA and it came at a decent prices and the specifications that I wanted were there. I was worried about the price for such a phone, but I was pleasantly suprised. I placed an order and it came within a week, which I thought was unusual for phone delivery, but hey I'm not one to argue. It came excusively from fedex. I also like the fact that just by switching to my new phone company, which is Verizon, I got a $40 gift card free just for getting an account with them. There is also mobile backing up filing which is free too.

Pros:
It has unlimited talk and text and a 1Gb data plan. See before I had to be careful about the minutes I used and when I went overboard I would get worried about the money that was accumulated to my bill. With this plan I don't have to worry about it. I have never been a big fan of texting but with this phone and plan I do have it and there isn't a limit. I don't have to worry about being trapped in a bundling plan or a 500 text a month plan.

Cons:
Well for one I would have to comment on the monthly access fee. The plan itself has the data packaging at $50 a month,which I feel is a bit much, but the rest of the features kind of out weigh it.

I used Wirefly, and they screwed up my order beyond all recognition and were then unable to fix it. They referred me to the cell phone company, who straighted the hash they made of things out. I wouldn't recommend this company to an ex-husband.

Sprint Cell Phone from Wirefly:

Wirefly offers incredible discounts on cell phone equipment. Android powerhouses such as the Galaxy S II and EVO 4G are available for next to nothing. Getting a $600.00 phone for free seems to be a fantastic deal. It would be wise, however, to ensure you understand everything about your purchase. For example, the EVO I purchased last year was reconditioned. To be sure, this is a small point if the phone works as it should work. I believe a new account should come with a new phone, though.

Wirefly is truthful about the speed of its shipping. I received my EVO in two days flat. I was very happy. However, I am glad I did not have to return my phone. Although Wirefly offers a fairly standard 14-day return policy, there are some key differences between theirs and those of standard cell phone carriers. The first thing is: If you want to return your phone, and call Wirefly for your return authorization number, you must get the phone back to them within seven days of getting the return authorization number. If you do not, you are liable for a fee of up to $400.00! So, if you return the device, you are at the mercy of the shipping company. Granted, Wirefly uses Federal Express, so this is not generally an issue. The second thing is similar: Once you sign up for Wirefly, you must keep your account with your carrier for 181 days. If your account terminates before that for any reason, you are liable for the up to $400.00 charge.

Pros: Of course, Wirefly's biggest plus is extremely inexpensive phone pricing. As promised, their speed impressive. They also have a wide selection of devices and keep their selection up to date. They also have acceptable customer service.

Cons: The period of six months after getting your phone will be a rude surprise to any unsuspecting customer. I was lucky to have been with Sprint seven months before cancelling because I moved to an area without Sprint coverage. Had I not been seven months into my contract, I would have had to pay Wirefly $400.00 for violating the terms and conditions. Also, at their discretion, they might not reimburse you for the entire amount of your phone after you return it.

Review Body: Although I’ve been through a dozen Smart phones in the last decade or so, I don’t consider myself to be an expert or an authority. On the plus side, it makes me the ideal soul to lay my thoughts merely on the Samsung Galaxy S3 as I have no brand preference, no specific loyalties and no interest in the technical garbage on paper that doesn’t mean anything to anyone.

So, what’s got me so excited about the S3?

Well, the only technical features and specs you need to know about are the phones quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM and one of the biggest and brightest touchscreens ever fitted to a Smartphone. In addition to this, there is a pocket-rocket which for all intents and purposes is as fast, powerful and versatile as the very best laptops on the market about a year ago.

Seriously – you could practically power NASA with the thing.

As far as how well all of this translates into real-world usability, you’d be forgiven for pointing out that none of these specs and features make much difference when it comes to plain and simple calling and texting. However, the Samsung Galaxy S3 is more of a supercomputer that happens to have a phone attached, therefore if you’re on the market for watching videos, surfing the web and taking super high-quality photos, chances are you’ve found your poison. Speaking of which, the 8-megapixel camera to the rear quite frankly puts my standard digital camera to shame and I haven’t used the thing ever since the S3 became the new love of my life.

Web surfing is as easy as it gets with the S3 and for me redefines what it is to have full and fast web access on the go. Mine’s running on Verizon’s 4G LTE network which means it is blisteringly fast round the clock and to date has never showed signs of slowdowns at peak hours. Its Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system can now be updated to Android Jelly Bean free of charge with a downloadable update, which in my opinion makes the S3 even sweeter. Apps like Facebook and Twitter are pretty much embedded in the thing from the start and couldn’t be easier to use.

While on that particular subject this is what won me over more than anything else about the S3 – despite being so incredibly advanced, it also couldn’t be easier to use. Think of it a 21st century technology for dummies – you just tell it what you want to do and it does it, that’s it!

One final note to back my praise…the S3 also happens to have just been given the award of Smartphone of the Year 2012…say no more!

Pros: Not only does the S3 do everything, but it also manages to do everything faster and slicker than any phone you’ve ever laid hands on. This is also my first time with a smartphone that has such a stunning camera and can say for certain I cannot imagine living without it.

Cons: I read plenty of reviews that pointed out the way in which the S3’s plastic casing and lightweight makeup doesn’t really give the feel of a top-tier Smartphone with such power. However, while I can see for sure where they were coming from, this doesn’t take anything away from its looks, its portability or its massive power, so although the impression may be different it really doesn’t matter in a realistic sense…if you ask me.

Website Experience: I hadn’t heard of the Wirefly website prior to being directed there by a friend, but would waste no time to say that it was one of the simplest website I’ve ever used to tackle a pretty complicated subject. If you’re looking for ease of access and clear rundowns of products that don’t baffle you with science, Wirefly is for you.

I had been on the lookout for a new phone and the Nokia Lumia series was among the options I was considering. However, I was a bit unsure about which one of the phones should I get for myself. There were many stylish and feature filled phones available to me, but then I heard about the special offer from Wirefly and opted to go for the Nokia Lumia 822. The purchasing process for this smartphone was simple and easy and I had the phone in my hand in a couple of days.

I was excited when the product arrived. It was exactly like I expected it to be. The box contained the Nokia Lumia 822 handset, a charger, SIM card, USB cable, a quick start guide book and a warranty brochure as well. The smartphone had a great feel to it and looked great in my hand. The sleek and stylish design of this phone was what that impressed me the most. The responsive touch screen was another plus of the phone that I liked. The powerful processor meant that flipping through the application was a breeze.

Besides the superfast processor and the extremely vivid touchscreen of the Nokia Lumia 822, the Windows Phone 8 Operating System was another of the bright spots of this cool handset. It made using the phone a joyful ride. I had a great time using the different apps and features that the phone gave me without even stuttering for a second. The impressive Verizon Wireless added to the experience of using the phone. It made browsing fast and I was able to stream videos and movies without encountering any problem what so ever.

The digital camera fitted into the Nokia Lumia 822 was also a major winner for me. This impressive 8 mega Pixel camera produced the most amazing photos that were incredibly sharp and even recorded breathtaking HD videos as well. The Carl Zeiss lens atop the camera really made a difference and made the images a lot brighter. Apart from the primary 8 Mega Pixel camera, the phone also has a 1.2 Mega Pixel front facing camera too which is great for video chatting.

The messaging, call and data packages that Verizon provided me for this smartphone were the best feature of the deal for me. I was allowed unlimited calls and messages along with 1 GB of data for internet browsing, all for a monthly fee of $ 50. The amazing service of Verizon was a great help for me since I have to do a lot of travelling and service of Verizon remained excellent throughout my journeys, enabling me to stay in touch with my family every step of the way.

Pros: The Nokia Lumia 822 – 4G LTE with Verizon Wireless available at Wirefly is a cool smartphone having plenty of useful features that make it a great gadget to have. It has a fast processor and is equipped with all the business applications and programs that are required by the businessmen of today.

The wireless service offered by Verizon makes internet browsing a treat on this stylish phone. At only $ 50 per month, it is very economical and can serve you well on your travels.

Cons: There are no obvious demerits of buying this smartphone except for the fact that it is available in only a few states of the United States.

Website Experience: The Wirefly website from where I purchased this amazing mobile phone is an excellent online site for buying mobile phones. I had absolutely no difficulty in navigating the website and was able to make the purchase without any hassles. The website is creatively designed which makes shopping a treat.

The security features of the website were also very impressive. I had no hesitation in giving my credit card details, as I had complete confidence in the confidentiality of my information.

I also love the fact that I can check my emails when I’m not on my computer. If I have an urgent email from my boss, I can reply from my phone instantaneously. With the IM feature, I can stay in touch with friends no matter where I am. We can plan a get together right on the spot. This phone has made my life so much more convenient in 21st century.

If you’re like me and love to take pictures to capture all the great memories of your life, the Revere has a great camera. It is a 1.3 megapixel camera that produces some of the clearest quality photos you have seen. The camera even allows you to edit photos, so you only put your best photos forward. You even have the option of uploading them directly to Facebook so your friends can enjoy as well. Thanks to this phone, I have album after album of pictures.

The Revere also is a great phone when it comes to safety. This phone is equipped with Bluetooth technology, so you can talk safely, hands-free. I’m always getting calls while I’m driving, but I hate to drive and hold a phone. With this phone, I can talk and drive safely. It’s great when it comes to driving through school zones; you never have to worry about tickets. You can even talk to this phone. With voice commands, you can tell this phone to call a number, so you don’t even have to dial the digits.

If you’re like me, you get lost a lot. But no worries, the Revere has GPS. You can receive turn-by-turn directions, so that you are always on track to get to your destination in a timely manner. The GPS talks to you and guides you through your whole route, so you never have to worry about ending up at a wrong location.

Pros: This phone has a long list of pros. It is easy to use, stylish and safe. It has a ton of wonderful features. You can stay connected on the go with Internet. This phone will keep you entertained for hours with photo apps, ringtones and games. The voice quality is exceptional. My calls come in crisp and I never struggle to hear what the person on the other end is saying.

Cons: The only con is that the phone isn’t very youth-friendly. It seems to be targeted at older audiences because of its features. If you are shopping for a phone for a younger person, this might not be it. However a more mature adult will really appreciate this phone.
