TRX Training

CONSUMER RATING based on 5 reviews
One of the most innovative new fitness systems to come out in recent years is the TRX Suspension Training System. TRX is designed to provide a total body workout for anyone, regardless of body type and training goals. The whole system is portable and can be setup in any room with a minimum amount of space, and a full range of fun and challenging exercises can be performed with it.

About the TRX Company
TRX was born when former Navy SEAL Randy Hetrick decided he wanted to incorporate some of the impromptu training systems used by SEALs in tight quarters with limited equipment. The SEALS have had to keep in shape in the harshest of conditions and in constricted spaces for decades, and their methods translate very well into a system for modern civilians.

After extensive research and development to put all of his knowledge into a low-cost, easy-to-use system, Hetrick finally came up with TRX. TRX Suspension Trainers allow for a complete workout program that meets the standards of professional athletes and the U.S. military.

TRX for Specific Training
Professional athletes from many different sports use TRX in their training regimen. Some of the sports for which the system can be used include the following:

• Golf – Several professional golfers and Dr. Greg Rose, cofounder of the Titleist Performance Institute, recommend TRX for training. On these recommendations, amateur golfers have found that the TRX system translates into a better performance on the golf course.

• Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) – TRX is used by professional UFC fighters, including Brian Stann, Roger “El Matador” Huerta, Bas Rutten and Brandon Vera.

• Endurance Sports – Triathletes and endurance sport champions use and recommend TRX to build core strength, improve balance and increase flexibility.

• Team Sports – Several players of the most popular team sports use TRX. Whether you play football, basketball, baseball or soccer, sport-specific TRX training programs are available.
