The Shake Weight is something that I really don't know how to rate. I used it for a couple of weeks and it really did seem like it was having an impact on my overall health, but on its own it's just not enough to give me a full workout. There are better options that are far easier to use in my opinion. The Shake Weight is just a little bit too tricky to master and too niche for the kind of all-over workout I need. Other people may love it, so I'll give it 3 stars.

All joking aside, the Shake Weight is actually a pretty decent product. If you add it to exercise equipment that you already own and use on a regular basis you will see excellent results. At least, I saw excellent results after using it for several months. Sure, I have to put up with my boyfriend giggling and laughing at me, but the firmness in my arms, shoulders, and chest is well worth any jokes that he might make at my expense. Overall, I think this is a pretty decent piece of work out equipment.

Just like Nicolas, I regularly use the Shake Weight to work out at home. The equipment has helped trim my arms, which used to make me feel embarrassed when I wear tight shirts. As a woman, I have always had problems keeping my arms toned. I have never been the type of person to wear anything sleeveless or very short sleeved because I did not want to scare anyone with my floppy arms. I ordered the Shake Weight because it really looked like it could work. After using the thing he first day, my arms were very sore and I really thought that the thing would make a difference. However, after two months I have only saw a slight difference in the size and tone of my upper arms. I just cannot say that this was worth the money.

I can't in good conscience give a lower rating for this product because I can't honestly evaluate whether or not it works at all. To be honest, I can even start using the Shake Weight without feeling ridiculous. I don't know if the silliness of this product as part of its appeal, but it is definitely not something that I will ever use when there is another human being in the room. I probably wouldn't even be able to use it in front of a mirror. The idea seems solid, but that's about as far as it goes.
